Animal Style Fries ( Big Game Food)

Updated: Feb 3, 2020

My take on In-N-Out Burger's secret menu favorite. This is a great big game food at its best. If you are entertaining for a big group, double or triple the sauce and the fries and allow your guest to enjoy!

Ingredients:

Fresh or Frozen Fries ( I used Both)

American Cheese

1/2 cup Mayonnaise

2 tbsp Ketchup

1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

1 tsp Yellow Mustard

2 tbsp Sweet Relish

1 tsp White Wine Vinegar

2 tsp Olive Oil

3 tbsp Ketchup

1 large Onion

Salt and Pepper to taste

*********If using potatoes, wash them and let them dry**************

Directions:

1. If you are using fresh fries, cut up and-set in cold bowl of water. This will get the starch off and keep from browning while you get everything together.

2. Dice up your large onion and caramelize. Start on medium high heat, then reduce to medium. Keep an eye on the onions and remove from heat when done.

2. Make your sauce by adding all the ingredients. ( 1/2 cup Mayonnaise ,1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce, 1 tsp Yellow Mustard, 2 tbsp Sweet Relish, 1 tsp White Wine Vinegar,

2 tsp Olive Oil and 3 tbsp Ketchup) There is no particular way or order to do this. This is more of a dump and go. Mix together well. ( If feeding a large group, double or triple this)

3. Now it's time for the fries. If using frozen fries, follow instructions provided on bag. If you are using a deep fryer, remove potatoes from water, dry off by putting in a bowl lined with a paper towel. Using vegetable or canola oil, set your temp to 350 degrees.

4.Once your fries are done, sprinkle some salt and toss.

5. Add cheese slices on top of your desired fry amount.

6. Add your caramelized onions on top of the cheese.

7. Add your animal sauce to the top of the fries and enjoy!
