Mango Habanero Wings

I love wings! Especially good flavorful ones. This recipe by smoking and grilling with AB will definitely satisfy your tastebuds and its's real simple to do. You can do this one right in your oven and stay inside and cook!

Ingredients:

12 - 24 Chicken Wings (all drumsticks are great but use flats as well)

3/4 cup Mango Habanero Salsa ( I used Mrs Renfro habanero salsa)

1/2 cup Peach Preserve ( I used Bonne Maman Mango Peach Preserves)

1/4 cup chopped Cilantro for garnish

1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

1/2 tsp Paprika

Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400

2. In a large bowl, place the wings and seasoning them with the garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. You may need to use your hands here to get the wings coated with the seasonings.

3. Using a baking or cookie sheet, line with aluminum foil, spray with olive oil or your favorite cooking spray, and place wings on it. Space them apart so they have enough room to cook evenly.

4. Cook in the oven for 45-55 minutes ( until you reach desired doneness) (internal temp for finished wings should be 165 degrees)

5. While the wings are cooking make the sauce by adding the mango habanero salsa and peach preserve to a small saucepan. Cook on medium high until it bubbles. Stir while cooking. Once the sauce boils, reduce heat to low and cover. The goal here is to not burn the sauce but to allow it to liquify and get happy together.

6. Once the wings are done. Hit both sides of the wings with the sauce and return to the oven for 8-10 minutes. Once done, allow to cool and serve with ranch dressing. Garnish with Cilantro for a next level flavor if you wish!

ENJOY!!!!!
