Philly Cheesesteak Sliders

Big game time! You need a big game taste! Good for any event!

Ingredients:

Green Pepper

Yellow Onion

Mushrooms

Salt

Pepper

Brioche rolls or Hawaiian rolls

Beef Shaved Steak (I used 28 oz)

Avocado or Olive Oil

Provolone Cheese slices

Steak Sauce

Mayo

Butter

Garlic Powder

Cayenne (optional)

Directions:

  1. Slice up your green pepper and onions. In a cast iron skillet or pan, sauté veggies using olive or avocado oil. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. Once the veggies are softening up, add in you mushrooms and continue to move around.

  3. While the veggies are finishing, cut your brioche or Hawaiian rolls in the middle making a top and bottom. Place the bottom portion in 9x13 pan or dish.

  4. Once the veggies are done, place to the side in a bowl.

  5. In the same skillet or pan, cook your beef shaved steak. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. The steak is thin and shouldn't take long. Once done, add the veggies back and mix together adding garlic powder and more salt and pepper if desired. Once completed, drain the juice from the mixture. This will keep the rolls from getting soggy.

  7. Mix together mayo and steak sauce and spread evenly on the bottom rolls.

  8. Spread the meat and veggie mixture evenly on the bottom rolls.

  9. Place the provolone cheese slices evenly across the mixture.

  10. Add the top rolls

  11. Mix melted butter and garlic powder. Spread the mixture across top of the rolls.

  12. Cover with aluminum foil and place in the over on 375 for 20 min.

  13. Once the 20 min is up, remove foil and place back in over for 5-8 additional min.

Enjoy!

Pro tip: These can be made the day before and stored in fridge until ready to cook.

This can be made the day before, kept in the fridge and placed in the oven to save time before the game.

Enjoy!!!!!
